Since we're all fussed with the jalop test, let's try to find the most jalop car ever. I suggest the Chevrolet Marajó (Chevette wagon) for a series of reasons (after the jump)
- Shooting Brake (3 door wagon);
- Available in brown;
- Rear wheel drive;
- Manual transmission;
- Could use an alternative fuel, in this case, sugarcane alcohol. This car could run on cachaça!
But, sadly, no diesel

Last time I checked, Jalopnik seemed to be quite charmed by this small Japanese 2 seater....

Yeah, Jalopnik is fascinated with the Miata, but it's too obvious to be true Jalop...

Indeed, too obvious... Okay, now back to business.
How about a classic, French, indestructible, rare, dieselpowered, brown wagon. That seems about right...
The Peugeot 504 station wagon.
If this isnt Jalop I give up...

There are very few ROW market cars I desire.
Seeing this Vette makes me mad at "Old GM" for not sending it up here.
A supercharged Ecotec 2.0 or 2.2 would go great in that.

Hmmmm, jalopy!
Good choice! If there was a Matra/Simca brown diesel wagon with manual transmission, 3 doors and rear wheel drive, that would be ultra-jalopy!

Manuel, brown, diesel, station wagon.
